Are you starting to think about the next years of your life? Do you want it to include things like music, dance, creativity and the arts? So do we! We are the Triangle Traditional Music and Dance Retirement Society! (We shorten that to “TTMADRS” or “2T”.)
We are a group of pioneers in the creation of a retirement community in Central NC focused on arts, healthcare, and innovative housing who have been researching, educating and creating possibilities for community living where people can experience playfulness, creativity, simplicity and meaning through all of the stages of their lives.

We realize that the information on this website ends with our Purchase and Sales agreement from over two years ago, as our efforts are focused on getting things done rather than keeping these pages updated.
Previous updates celebrated the purchase of land on which we hope to build our community - Fiddlehead Corner - a name selected by 2T members. In a joint effort with Hands Four Development (H4D), the cooperative that is buying and developing the land, 2T continues to support the development of the community as described in the Vision and Mission Statements. 2T’s current focus is education, communication, member recruitment, member support and "community building".
Those who have completed an orientation and have become 2T members are kept informed via monthly meetings and/or updates, where information is shared and bonds are formed. Consider joining the 2T community to participate and support our goal of making Fiddlehead Corner a reality.
